I’m a mother of two babies in heaven. I know that’s a lot to come out and just say. I’m also a photographer, an architect, an artist, a wife, and a follower of Jesus. In October of 2021 my world changed, time changed, everything changed. When you lose your rainbow baby it tears you down to your core and you discover all that matters in this life are relationships and LOVE.
My most prized possessions are the photographs I took of my daughter, Nova. I started Nova Life Photography to share my story and my love of photography with others. I want to capture the life, soul, and spirt of your child, your family, your life, and your love.
Life changes every second of every day. I would love to hit pause on this moment in time for you to cherish the rest of your life.
KC Native > Education
I was born in North Kansas City and grew up in the Northland. Completed UMKC's Architecture and Urban Design program and K-State's Master of Architecture degree program. Throughout college I took photography and art courses. I spent eight years living in downtown Kansas City working as an Architect. A lot of changes in my life happened over the pandemic including moving north just over the river into North Kansas City.
Favorite Age to Photograph
My favorite age to photograph is around 6 months to 6 years. I love this time because their personality is just forming and they have so much joy just bursting out of them. I typically do not tell them how to sit, stand, smile or look at the camera; well because they are not going to listen anyway. I just observe them doing their thing; exploring, playing, and loving life.
My Style
As a photographer what I'm most interested in is capturing REAL moments. Photos that pause time in real environments capturing real emotion and real love. I want you to look back at this photograph and it bring you back in time to that moment so you can relive it again and again.
